Deann Hofer Ogilvie, DPM

Dr. Deann Hofer Ogilvie is a passionate board-certified podiatric physician with a unique background shaped by her love for sports and the outdoors. Raised in Western New York, she excelled in basketball and soccer throughout her academic journey, despite enduring multiple foot and ankle injuries. These experiences ignited her appreciation for early athletic intervention and rehabilitation. During her time in podiatry school, Dr. Ogilvie discovered a new passion for rock climbing, which led her to explore the majestic mountains across the country. She thrives on the mental challenges that climbing presents, valuing skills like communication, body awareness, focus, and critical decision-making—qualities that she believes define a podiatric physician.

After opting for an extensive fellowship in sports medicine at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in California, Dr. Ogilvie settled in Colorado, where she has been working in private practice since 2017. Her love for outdoor adventures continues, including rock climbing, skiing, and hiking. She met her husband in Colorado, and together they embrace various activities, with him being a snowboarder while she enjoys skiing. She is also a certified Level 1 CrossFit trainer, thanks to her husband's introduction to the sport.

In early 2021, Dr. Ogilvie and her husband exchanged vows in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Estes Park, with their beloved dog, Timber, serving as the best man. At home, they share their lives with a cat named Geppetto, who has been a steadfast companion since her podiatry school days. The couple purchased a home in Erie, Colorado, and in the spring of 2023, they welcomed their daughter, adding a new dimension of joy to their adventures in the breathtaking landscapes of Colorado.
